As the Gay Prom (GROM) Kommittee, we're all about bringing people together for a good time and giving back to our community. Our goal? Creating a space where LGBTQ+ folks, who might've missed out on their own school dances, can finally let loose, dance like nobody's watching, and finally bE wHo YoU aReEeE! But it's not just about the party – it’s about our community. That's why our proceeds go directly towards LGBTQ+ youth initiatives, because we believe in supporting the next generation. We're all about good vibes, great music, and making memories that matter.

Our mission is to create an inclusive and affirming space at our dances, where LGBTQ+ individuals can celebrate without fear of discrimination. We aim to provide a chance for those who were denied the opportunity to attend their own school dances to dance freely, express themselves authentically, and feel embraced by a community that celebrates them.

To honor the memory of Mag Bar's former glory,  we are having 5 incredible alternative bands play on the ground, where the stage used to be back in "the day". We don't have the old arcade machines any more but we will have a two player arcade controller with 3000 games loaded in it, including old Mag favorites Golden Axe, Battle Toads, Tekken, and more.
