Used to come to the mag bar every other weekend - barhopping in the mid-nineties. This is an old classic dive bar which will NEVER DIE. This this is part of the old south and forever it will stay that way. Old wood floors, Old classic wood bar, beautiful laid back atmosphere in the middle of an old neighborhood - away from all the other dive bars on Bardstown RD.
Favorite trivia night in Louisville every Tuesday with Clay Baker. Still the best jukebox and drink prices in town. Mag is the best, always has been, always will be.
Best dive bar in Louisville and the best jukebox in town. Also a great pizza place located next door. The people that review this place poorly are the type of people that walk in here and order a glass of wine or a White Russian. Go to some bar in Nulu if you want stuff like that. Plus you can usually catch a great band in the back.
